Karen Garcia has been attending Calvary Chapel Downey for over 25 years. She has served in Children’s Ministry during that time as well. She is married and has 2 children, Josh and Kelsey. Ms. Carolina graduated from CCCS and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Development from Cal State University in Fullerton. Currently she is involved in Pioneer Clubs, in the Children's Ministry at Calvary Chapel Downey.

CCCS is pleased to offer honors courses and AP courses for students who are wishing to advance in their studies. Additionally, our math and science programs are aligned so that advanced students can quickly move through math and science beginning in junior high in order to enroll in higher math and science courses in high school.
